Congratulations to Tonya Futrell, CPA, who were featured in The Road to Retention: Motivators and Drivers for Young Accounting Professionals survey. For the survey, Tonya participated with five other young professionals to chime in on key questions and give their feedback. She says, “One of the biggest changes I’ve seen is the profession moving away from being so compliance driven and moving toward being more consultative”.
From the extensive survey that was sent to young accounting professionals aged 21-40, here are some of what you will find inside the report:
- 80% of respondents were from the all-important Millenial generation, aged 21-33, with 20% coming from the 30-40 age group. Male and female respondents were about evenly split at 51% and 49%, respectively.
