WellsColeman: Still One of the “Best Places to Work in Virginia”!
WellsColeman was recently named one of the 2016 “Best Places to Work in Virginia,” marking the fifth year in a row that the firm has earned this distinction. Virginia Business and Best Companies Group created this annual list in 2000, and since then, only eight other companies have cinched this coveted title for as long as us.
To determine which workplaces deserve this honor, companies must not only fulfill a list of eligibility requirements, but also complete a two-part survey assessing the company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, demographics and employee experience. When evaluating the registrants, Best Companies Group benchmarks the companies on a list of core values, including leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationships with supervisors, training and benefits, pay, and overall employee engagement. From the group of registrants, only 100 businesses are chosen across three categories: Small (15-99 employees), Midsize (100-249), and Large (250 or more).
